The morning was pretty tough. Dogs started barking at 4:00 am. I heard a random alarm at 5:00 am, so sleep was pretty rough. Along with that, Whit found a few friendly scorpions at 1:30 am. Will was freaking out, and I was sound asleep upstairs. Finally after a rough night of sleep, we woke up at 7:00 am, only wanting to get five more minutes of sleep.
We all got up, some at 7:20 am, but we were at breakfast on time at 7:30 am. Breakfast was great. Imaira made amazing bread and bollos.
After breakfast we went to the worksite (the school) to start our building. Today we finished some structural work. Shout out to Whit for doing almost all of the concrete work! We had some amazing coconut water as our treat,
I then had a nice bus ride nap to the market. At the market we got some food and made friends by playing soccer with the locals. Chan nearly killed a local by kicking a ball but missed. We then went back for lunch from Imaira.
After lunch, we went on an adventure. We went to a local mall and had a scavenger hunt. I am not sure who won because a man was following some of the groups and ruined the activities. We saw him walk off never to be seen again.
We got on the bus again and went to an odd place. We learned how to dance. Talk to Bryan, who had a great day. He was an awesome dancer.
We went back to the resort and ate dinner from Imaira. Imaira is a great cook!
Right now we are watching a movie.
Today has been a good day. I cannot wait to progress on the building tomorrow.
